Bryan Thompson

Bryan C. Thompson is a Winston-Salem native. He earned a B.S. from Appalachian State University in December 1995, and a J.D., cum laude, from the Norman Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in May 1999.  After one year as an associate with John R. Surratt, P.A., he became a member of the firm, at which time the firm was renamed Surratt & Thompson, PLLC.  He was appointed Public Administrator of Forsyth County, North Carolina in 2006, and the Public Administrator of Davie County, North Carolina in 2010.  His legal expertise include Elder Law; Wills; Trusts and Estates; Guardianship; Corporate Law; Collections; Taxation; Consumer Law; and Residential / Commercial Real Estate.  In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Thompson serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army in Winston-Salem, the Human Rights Committee of CenterPoint Human Services and the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Guardianship Association and CenterPoint Human Services.
