Ann Gibbs is one of the country’s most experienced academic administrators. Before coming to Wake Forest, she served in similar administrative positions at the University of Richmond and at the Nova Southeastern University Law Center. She serves as a law school representative on the board of the BarCARES program of the N.C. Bar Association, which provides cost-free counseling and assistance to lawyers and law students, and has served on the board of the North Carolina Legal Educational Assistance Foundation (LEAF), which helps lawyers pursue careers in public service through educational loan repayment assistance. Before becoming a law school administrator, Ann practiced with Browder, Russell, Morris and Butcher in Richmond, Virginia. Ann tutors students at a local elementary school, and has served on the Administrative Board of the Clemmons United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Tom, have two children: Mackenzie (20 years) and Jordan (15 years).
